Firefox RC 2 Now Available for Download

Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 (RC 2) is now available for download from the Mozilla Web site.

Just last month, Mozilla had released Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 (RC 1) after which the Mozilla Team reportedly fixed nearly 40 bugs, applying patches including localization updates.
One of the issues was the Windows XP bug that resulted in the browser crashing while surfing Web sites such as Facebook, eBay, and Hotmail. The other issue was with Linux that resulted in hanging of the user interface (UI) rendering it useless. Meanwhile, Firefox 3 RC 2 does not include any new features, Mozilla said. The final Firefox 3 release is scheduled for mid this month.
